Championships
The BCMCA holds Championship various events to determine the BCMCA Champion. These Championship bonspiels typically alternate between the PCMCA, held on the west coast and the BCIMCA, held in the southern interior.
These events are gatherings of many teams and include traditional features such as the piping in of contestants during an opening ceremony and a gala awards dinner.
To qualify for these Championships, teams may need to qualify through both Club and Zone playdowns. Once through these early stages, some of their expenses are covered for the trip to the Championships.
These are the highlights of the year and we encourage all members to enter a team in the Playdowns to enjoy some fun and competitive curling.
